Bituminous & Anthracite Coal
​Bituminous coal is used for the production of activated carbon. The coal is first coked, removing volatiles, then steam treated to activate it. Chemical processes for activating coke produced from bituminous coal have also been investigated. Bituminous coal is a particular rank of coal, as determined by the amount and type of carbon present in the coal and the amount of energy it can produce when burned. Bituminous coal is the most abundant rank of coal. 
Anthracite coal - which is mainly used for furnaces used to smelt ferroalloys and iron ore melting is an esssential sub commodity for the steel and ferroalloy industry. We cater the market with this commodity responsibly sourced from Africa and Indonesia.
